the staff was helpful! nothing was too much trouble.
The shower unit was dirty! it was full of limescale and dysfunctional. the bath was small and the shower curtain had mould on it. This was unacceptable.

The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. It seems to be the only thing acceptable .
My room was unbelievably bad. The bathroom was ancient. I noticed tiles and the bath were stained. I have never seen anything so disgusting and old.

the breakfast offered a great choice of cooked and continental items. staff members were attentive and friendly. they offered assistance with finding a different room lower down for my second night due to my foot injury. a jug of iced water was also provided.
My room was right at the top of the hotel. access involved two sets of stairs, which posed a challenge due to an ongoing foot injury. the room was very hot. a fan was available.

The breakfast selection was broad and delicious. I particularly appreciated the central location. Shops were easily accessible. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Free parking was a significant advantage.
The bar closed somewhat early at 9:30 pm. This limited my options for an evening drink after a long day of travel.
