dirty shower unit mould shower curtain
the staff was helpful! nothing was too much trouble.
The shower unit was dirty! it was full of limescale and dysfunctional. the bath was small and the shower curtain had mould on it. This was unacceptable.

pleasant and convenient stay
attentive staff iced water
the breakfast offered a great choice of cooked and continental items. staff members were attentive and friendly. they offered assistance with finding a different room lower down for my second night due to my foot injury. a jug of iced water was also provided.
My room was right at the top of the hotel. access involved two sets of stairs, which posed a challenge due to an ongoing foot injury. the room was very hot. a fan was available.

helpful staff central location
The breakfast selection was broad and delicious. I particularly appreciated the central location. Shops were easily accessible. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Free parking was a significant advantage.
The bar closed somewhat early at 9:30 pm. This limited my options for an evening drink after a long day of travel.

The breakfast included a good selection of items. Staff provided assistance when needed. Free parking was a convenience. The location allowed easy access to nearby shops.
The room showed some signs of wear, and I noted some dents in the walls.
